We believe missions to be at the heart of the work of the New
Testament church (Matthew 28: 18-20).  Two things stand front
and center in our minds as we consider our responsibility as a
church to reach lost sinners with the gospel of Jesus Christ in
       the United States and abroad:

            i.   The resurrected Jesus Christ, who has been given all
authority in heaven and on earth, promises his presence
with us in all of our missions activity (vv.18, 20b).

ii.   This same Jesus commands us to engage in worldwide
ministry until his return (vv.19, 20a), a limitless and
daunting command to say the least.

Our aim is to embrace fully both the promise and the command
of this Great Commission, and in so doing to engage in truly
dependent activity on behalf of Christ and his kingdom.  We
pray that the result of such a commitment will be the salvation
of sinners from every language, people and nation to the glory
       of our great God.

Reflecting our commitment to this Great Commission, our
church purposes to allocate large percentages of it's annual
budget to the support of missionary labors in the United States
and around the world.   As we partner with missionaries, we
seek  to develop full-orbed relationships with them through
prayer, regular visits, etc.  We also pray that members of our
church will be sent out into the missionary field as bearers of
the good news of Jesus Christ.
